Iran IP VPN · Application ID com.iranip.vpn

Effective date: 23 June 2026 · Last updated: 23 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Iran IP VPN application and its related services (the “App” or “Service”) collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the App on all platforms where it is distributed, including the Apple App Store, Google Play, and the Microsoft Store.

In short:

1. Who we are

Iran IP VPN (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is the provider and data controller of the Service. The App is a virtual private network (VPN) client that lets you establish an encrypted connection to our proxy servers.

You can reach us at:

2. Data we collect

We practice data minimization — we collect only what the Service needs to function. The categories below are the complete set of personal data we process.

2.1 Account information

You sign in with Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. From the sign-in provider we receive and store your email address and the sign-in provider name (Google or Apple). We use the email address as your unique account identifier. We do not receive or store your social-account password.

2.2 Subscription and purchase information

Premium subscriptions are sold and processed by the app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store) and managed through our payment partner, RevenueCat. For an account we store: subscription plan/tier, product identifier, the store that processed the purchase, subscription status, expiry date, and auto-renewal status. We never receive or store your full payment-card number or bank details — those are handled directly by the app store and its payment processor.

2.3 VPN connection and usage data

To operate the VPN and enforce plan limits we process: a subscription/configuration identifier that links your account to a VPN profile, the amount of data (bandwidth) used, connection counts, and connection timestamps. To route your traffic, our servers necessarily handle your device’s IP address and the destination of your connection in transit; we do not retain a browsing history from this (see Section 3).

2.4 Advertising data (free tier only)

If you use the free version, we show ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect an advertising identifier, coarse device and app information, IP address, and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. Premium subscribers do not see ads. See Section 6 for your choices, including Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS.

2.5 Diagnostics and crash data

To find and fix bugs we use Sentry for optional crash and error reporting. Reports may include the error and stack trace, app version, operating-system version, and device model. Personally identifying details are scrubbed before transmission, and the data is processed on servers in the European Union. Crash reporting is opt-out — you can disable it in Settings → General within the App.

2.6 Technical and log data

Our backend runs on Cloudflare. Like virtually all internet services, our servers automatically process standard request metadata such as IP address, user-agent, and timestamps for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. These operational logs are short-lived and are not used to build a profile of your activity.

3. What we do not collect

As a VPN, our privacy commitments matter. We do not:

4. How we use data

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases:

6. Advertising and your choices

Free-tier ads are served by Google AdMob. Depending on your settings and consent, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. You can control this:

7. Sharing and third-party processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with the service providers below strictly to operate the Service. Each acts as our processor or an independent controller for the stated purpose and is bound by its own privacy terms.

We may also disclose information if required by valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

8. International data transfers

We operate globally, and our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States and the European Union. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Data retention

We keep account and subscription data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Operational and diagnostic logs are retained only for a short period. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the associated personal data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes.

10. Security

VPN traffic is encrypted in transit. Account and subscription data is stored on secured infrastructure with access restricted to what is necessary to operate the Service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to:

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the sense defined by California law. To exercise any right, contact us using Section 15. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

12. Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:

Upon a verified request we delete your account record and associated personal data (your email, sign-in provider, subscription record, and VPN configuration identifier), typically within 30 days. Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, purchase records for tax purposes). Note that subscriptions purchased through an app store must be cancelled in that store; deleting your account does not by itself cancel store billing.

13. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children. It is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, where higher). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
